I'm the kinda gal that doesn't try to take my tattoos too seriously. I want to be able to smile when I look at them, and not have them remind me of something tragic that happened in my life. More pop art, colorful and silly.
I've always loved tattoos up next to lingerie, as well as textured fabrics and colors. I just felt they were the best accessory to have that fit me. I grew up fawning over pin up models with full sleeves in California, which was more common out there than in a place like NYC. Even my mom had a lot of tattoos. I would idolize those models and dream about being an age where I could finally start getting my own.
